Everbridge Mass Notifications/Alerts

The City of Melcher-Dallas has launched Everbridge, a notification and alert system for its residents.

Everbridge is a communication service available to our residents to receive Alerts and other non-emergency notifications via Email, Mobile App, Phone Call, or Text. Notifications and alerts may include:

  • Water Quality Alerts
  • Road Closures Notifications
  • Snow Ordinance Alerts
  • Utility Service Disruptions
  • Community Event Alerts and Notifications

Frequently asked Questions

Q: How can I get help signing up if I don’t have a Computer?

A: You can stop by the Melcher-Dallas Public Library to use a computer or get assistance from Library Staff.


Q: What if I want to get notifications by text message instead of using the Everbridge App?

A: You can change your notification settings by logging in, Edit your Profile, and adding or removing information under your Contact Information.  You can also change the order in which you receive notifications by clicking on the arrows on the left to move your preferred method of contact up or down.


Q: Why don’t I get notifications on my Everbridge App?

A: The Everbridge App must be running in the background on your device for you to receive notifications.


Q: What if I no longer wish to receive notifications?

A: If you no longer wish to receive notifications, you can change your notification settings by logging in, Edit your Profile, and removing/deleting all contact methods under your Contact Information.  If you need assistance, stop by or call the Melcher-Dallas Public Library to get assistance from Library Staff. Q: How many alerts/notifications will I get?

A: At this time, the intended purpose is to communicate important information regarding the Municipal Water Supply and other important community alerts, but if more types of alerts or notifications are desired by the community, please contact the Mayor or a City Council Member to voice your concerns or opinions.
